Production Project Treatment
Example production brief:
Create an original music video and associated print or online material to promote the same artist or band. Targeting a specialised audience of 16-35 year olds

Name and genre of music track/ film:

Pages to be produced:
A music video- 3 minutes to 3 minutes 30 seconds
A magazine front page and double spread article or a website
Target Audience:
A predominantly female audience aged between 17-27 who have interests in Indie music/alternative pop music. 
Application of media language:
Mise en scene: casual/vintage clothing, bright colours, outdoors scenes
Lighting: outdoor warm lighting for flashback scenes- connotes happy/positive memory vs performance scenes will be dark and warm.
Editing: toy camera effect, scribble effect + reverse and slow motion
Camera: range of low and high angle shots, POV shots and will be dominated by eye level shots as if the audience is positioned in the narrative
Representations and how they will be constructed:
Gay/lesbian/heterosexual couples- seen on dates and through the flashbacks- maybe head shots of each couples

Industry: production, distribution and marketing:
My marketing strategy is to use bright colours and maybe unique and modern locations to attract audience attention. This can be used in the magazine and the music video.
