MUSIC MARKETING BRIEF 4: Music Marketing A cross-media production for a new artist or band in a genre (or sub-genre/hybrid) of your choice. Create an original music video and associated print or online material to promote the same artist or band. TASK 2: RESEARCH AND PLANNING TREATMENT FLAT PLAN I wanted to keep the minimalist and simple look to the front cover and the article page by using the main images as the main focus- as the artist is not that well known and is only upcoming i think that shifting audiences attention to main images will help establish the artist. The clean approach also compliments the genre of music well and doesn't get mixed up with pop culture magazines where the front cover is cluttered with text.

To get this I scrunched cling film and wrapped it over the lens. CINEMATOGRAPHY TRIP Experimenting with lighting- using coloured gel filters and combining colours to get gradients- as seen in the stills we combined red and blue with one model and green and yellow for our other model.    PRODUCT PICTURES    EDITING What i learnt- -shortcut keys to simplify the editing process such as the use of keys J,K,L- using these keys enable you to fast forward and rewind clips  -colour correction -editing audio- fading it out -cutting footage -storing footage correctly what can I use in my post production- - i can use colour correction in my editing- if i am unable to film with the toy camera filter- enhance the cool tones/blue -able to use the skills of editing sound
